Honours Prof. Mohamed Rela on Successfully Completing 1000 Liver Transplants in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, January 16th, 2018: Gleneagles Global Health City, the largest facility of Gleneagles Global Hospitals in India, a Parkway Pantai enterprise, today held a ceremony at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai to facilitate Prof. Mohamed Rela, Chairman and Director, Institute of Liver Disease and Transplant, Gleneagles Global Health City and his team on successfully completing 1000 liver transplants in Tamil Nadu. Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Honourable Vice President of India was the chief guest for the event. Shri Banwarilal Purohit, Honourable Governor, Tamil Nadu, Dr. C. Vijaya Baskar, Minister of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, Tamil Nadu and Dr. J. Radhakrishnan, IAS, Principal Secretary – Health and Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Tamil Nadu were the guests of honour at the celebration. Dr. K. Ravindranath, Chairman, Gleneagles Global Hospitals and Mr. Ramesh Krishnan, Chief Executive Officer, India Operations Division, Parkway Pantai Limited were also present at the ceremony.
